Stone fabrication and countertop
price is determined by the following options:
• Material type (granite, marble, travertine, limestone, etc.) and color.
• Material thickness (2cm or 3cm)
• Edge Type (Eased, Round, Bevel, Bullnose,
Ogee, Dupont, etc.)
• Linear feet of edgework
• Length and height of backsplashes (3",
4" of Full-height backsplash)
• Cutouts for undermount or drop-in sink
• Cutouts for cook top or oven/range
• Tear-out
Fabrication process itself:
1) Fax or email copies of plans with dimensions of your
cabinets.
2) Select stone from a local supplier’s warehouse
with Stonehenge’s assistance.
3) Choose edge type, sink and cooktop cutouts,
tear-outs and backsplash height.
4) When all is submitted pricing quote is prepared and
faxed to the client.
5) Template and install date are scheduled.
6) Template and exact measurements are taken after cabinets
are installed.
7) Material is brought in the fabrication shop where
it is fabricated according to client’s specifications.
8) Client is responsible for hiring electricians or plumbers
to disconnect and reconnect all electrical and plumbing connections.
We are not licensed electricians or plumbers. Therefore, we can not assume
any liability for making electrical or plumbing connections. We can,
in most instances however, recommend reputable and licensed individuals
or companies to complete these tasks for you.
Remember, all fabrication
is not the same. Ask your fabricator:
• How many seams will be made?
• Where will the seams be?
• Where will the seams be in the backsplashes?
